2020 Bundled Exterior Lighting Guidelines


DESCRIPTION


The Ameren Missouri BizSavers Program has incentives available on exterior lighting improvements for eligible Commercial and

Industrial customers. The exterior lighting project must be coupled with a new interior lighting project at that site.

OBJECTIVE


The objective of the 2020 Bundled Exterior Lighting program is to increase participation by incenting Ameren Missouri customers

to use energy efficient equipment through the BizSavers Program to invest back into their business while saving on both upfront

cost and ongoing operational costs.

DATES AND TIMELINES


• 2020 Packaged Exterior Lighting program “Start Date”: October 2nd, 2020

• 2020 Packaged Exterior Lighting program “End Date”: December 31st, 2020

ELIGIBILITY


• Eligible Efficient Technologies: Any exterior LED lighting

o Exterior lighting specification life must be ≥ 50,000 hours

• Exterior lighting must be bundled with programs that include interior lighting

• Each exterior lighting measure must pass the Total Resource Cost test to qualify, which is validated within the application.

• Project Eligibility


o Bundled Program Fast Track Projects (<$15,000 incentive)

 New lighting projects received within the timeframe established by the Start and End Dates listed above

are eligible

o Bundled Program Pre-Approval Projects (≥$15,000 incentive)

 Projects without a BizSavers incentive offer within the timeframe established by the Start and End

Dates listed above are eligible


DETAILS


• A previously non-submitted interior lighting project must accompany the exterior scope on the application.

• The incentive rate for exterior lighting measures is $0.10 per kWh saved.

• The total exterior lighting incentive will be capped at 30% of the final interior lighting incentive.

• Any active bonus will not apply to the kWh or incentive associated with exterior lighting

• Projects must be installed and all completion paperwork submitted by December 31st, 2020.

• Exterior incentive cannot exceed 50% of total cost (material, labor, disposal, etc.) of exterior lighting project.

• The interior lighting measures that are part of the Bundled Exterior lighting project must adhere to the Standard Program

guidelines.
